Spirit Brother This Large piece, burned into Russian elkskin and mounted with tiny Baltic-amber beads, features a representation of the spiritual relationship of the Plains Indians and the wolves that followed the buffalo herds. Appearing in the smoke above a Lakota Sioux tipi is the howling head of a wolf. The framing exposes all edges of the leather on black, highlighted by matching earth-tones in both the matting and the wood of the frame. Measuring 41x32 inches, this etheric work is entitled "Spirit Brother". $1,700.00 |
